First Emperor appears to be improving with racing though finished a length behind GULLIVER'S TRAVELS when the Ballydoyle colt, who cost €2m, was fourth on his debut at Leopardstown when an odds-on stable companion finished second. A son of Galileo and related to several high-class performers there will be some long faces if he can't win a Limerick maiden. Nusret has been going well over shorter and being by Golden Horn out of a Daylami mare will ensure the selection gets a thorough test. His stablemate Magellan Strait will have come on a bundle for his run at Tipperary.
