In depth

Verdict

Solita is a winning bumper, hurdler and chaser who was third on her belated debut on the Flat at Ballinrobe in June. Burning Sword was only beaten a neck on his debut at Galway but didn't build on that at Listowel next time and may be worth opposing again. Monocle was disappointing last time at Galway but probably didn't stay. However, he's fitted with a visor here while Master Ring has his first run for Mick Halford having arrived from the French provinces. EAVESDROP has not run a bad race this year and the Galileo filly may finally get her head in front today over this intermediate distance, though stable companion New Millennium shouldn't be ignored as he's related to a host of winners and will have learnt plenty from his run at the Curragh.
