Verdict

D'S TRIX didn't appear to enjoy stepping up in trip at Tramore last month after beating Korean over this C&D a month earlier. He's still on his highest-ever mark but may just have enough in hand to return to winning ways and should again take care of the runner-up. Theresathingwrong had the selection a neck behind when scoring over the C&D in November but the ground that day was very testing which suited the winner. Francis Du Mesnil doesn't win often enough and is probably still a few pounds high while Borolee has struggled at the weights since scoring at Punchestown in October, though he did run a little better at Clonmel last time.
