CARRIGMOORNA ROCK finished runner-up to Morning Run at this level at Down Royal before comfortably landing a Listed contest at Newbury where the testing ground caused no problems - she's taken to follow up. Theatre Bird arrived here in good form a year ago and won this in good style but she hasn't distinguished herself subsequently and was beaten when unshipping Davy Russell in a chase at Fairyhouse last time. Analifet looked a classy recruit when completing a hat-trick on her first three starts but was injured when long odds-on at this fixture a year ago. She finished last on her reappearance at Naas in November and is probably best watched for now. New tactics were tried on Princess Leya at Fairyhouse and they worked to perfection as she made all and galloped her rivals into the ground so she deserves her chance at this level. Mrs Mac Veale is in excellent form and was conceding weight to the veteran Fosters Cross when runner-up in a Thurles handicap last week while Dan Skelton wouldn't be sending Fairytale Theatre for this without good cause and Ruby Walsh is a very positive booking.
