These qualifiers are not for the faint-hearted. Jetson beat a huge field in this a year ago and though he's continued to run well he's now 12lb higher. Catch Me, who was beaten a long way, finished runner-up to Cape Tribulation in the Final at Cheltenham and will probably need this before another crack at the Festival. Jupitor hasn't had much experience and came up against the in-form Happy New Year at Gowran where he acquitted himself well. APT APPROACH is rated 18lb lower over hurdles than fences and took advantage when comfortably beating today's rival Prince Rudi at Fairyhouse. The longer trip is certain to suit and he is handed the vote though his stablemate, the four-year-old Darroun, tackles this trip for the first time and could be a blot on the handicap. Bat Masterson ran a shocker last time but is much better than that while Coole Avenue has been in good form and should get into the mix.
