Verdict

Burgundy Boy scrambled home in a Roscommon maiden but ran much better than expected behind The Pentagon in a Group 3 over 7f here in July. Hazapour showed plenty of promise on his debut then beat the odds-on Hunting Horn at Galway last month and has the potential to go on to better things. Mick Channon has sent Beverley winner Apple Anni to Naas twice but she's failed to sparkle. CIMEARA was under pressure for a long way on heavy going at Gowran but battled on and got on top in the closing stages. She'll have come on markedly for the run and the slightly longer trip is in her favour so she gets the nod. After a very easy maiden victory, Flag Of Honour didn't get the run of the race in a Curragh Group 3 and is better than he showed that day though Saracen Knight is likely to prove best of the Ballydoyle trio after his Gowran victory where he had Giuseppe Garibaldi behind though the latter can finish much closer. Nibiru gained a shock victory in what looked a strong Naas maiden and is no forlorn hope.
