Verdict

Maze Runner won on the Flat at Galway in October before battling to victory on his hurdling bow in a huge field at Cork. He'll need more here though any easing of the ground would aid his cause. Got Trumped hasn't had much experience but looked a smart prospect when beating Rocky Blue almost 3l at Punchestown. The runner-up, who had been going well on the Flat, had every chance but didn't have the advantage of previous experience, unlike the winner, so could reverse the places. Chief Justice and COEUR SUBLIME fought out a tremendous finish for a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse earlier this month with honours going to the former, who will be 4lb better off. However, he had more experience than the runner-up going into the race and the positions can be reversed. Coko Beach, Flat To The Max and Smiling Eliza also represent Gordon Elliott and the former in particular is very interesting having won easily over hurdles at Nantes in October, his only start to date. La Sorelita is another French recruit having won easily at Clairefontaine in July.
