Stormy Tale looked to need every yard of 1m2f at Ballinrobe on Monday and comes here with a penalty. Phoenix Lightning is still a maiden but ran easily his best race since transferring from the UK when runner-up at Gowran where he was staying on over 7f. Miss Zizi broke her maiden tag at the 10th time of asking when making all at Killarney and a 5lb rise doesn't look excessive while Raphael has been travelling well up to this trip before finding the extra just beyond him and he'll be winning soon. Chaparral Dream has been placed behind several of these in recent weeks including RINCE DEIREANACH over this track and trip. The latter was then beaten a short-head over 1m2f at Navan and has moved stables though Kevin Manning keeps the ride and can steer him to another victory.
