Auckland has been very disappointing and was beaten in a Killarney handicap last time but Makamania made a very promising start at Dundalk in December behind an experienced rival. Nigg Bay was always being ridden along at Killarney but kept finding for pressure and will have come on markedly for the experience. ALAHIDA is by the champion Australian sire Redoute's Choice and is the first foal of a mare who won a Group 3 as a juvenile. She's taken to make a successful debut though Casla has a smart pedigree for this sort of trip and any money would be interesting.
