Chris Hayes is the regular pilot of Sovereign Debt when Dandy Nicholls' charge runs in Ireland, though he wasn't on board when he was awarded a Group 3 at Tipperary earlier this month. He regained the mount at Newmarket and only just failed to hold the last thrust of Energia Davos over 1m1f and this is his trip. However, TESTED was the one who was thrown out at Tipperary after finishing first past the post and, with a 5lb pull in the weights, can gain compensation as both Steip Aimach and The Happy Prince were behind and look held. Akira has looked just short of this class but Iveagh Gardens could be a different proposition. Charles O'Brien's filly was a 25/1 chance when beating the high-class Found on heavy going at the Curragh in May so, if handling these conditions, would be a major threat though the runner-up has obviously improved massively.
