Verdict

WALTHAM has run twice over 1m5f here and won as he liked. He's facing much stronger rivals but looks the type of stayer to go on to better things. Alexandroupolis won a Galway maiden on debut last September and reappeared in the Ballysax where he started odds-on but floundered in heavy conditions. He's been given time to recover and still looks a stayer of some potential. Amusement has been racing in smart company and rarely been beaten far though some rain would aid her cause. Harbour Wind takes a big step up in trip after scoring by seven lengths over 1m2f at Navan but his pedigree suggests he'll be well suited.
