A very tough start to an excellent day's racing with several of the fancied entries having had plenty of chances. Gift Of Dgab was surprisingly beaten when odds-on at Fairyhouse where the slow pace didn't suit. Rivage D'Or continues to find one or two too good while Somethingdifferent has looked as though a longer trip would suit. BUCK BARROW caught a real live one in Cottresbooley at the Christmas meeting but didn't go down without a fight. He'll need to produce a similar level of form here but there's no reason why he shouldn't do so. The winner that day was trained by Willie Mullins, whose Day Of A Lifetime, a bumper winner at Fairyhouse on his debut before well beaten in the Festival Bumper at Cheltenham, is one to keep an eye on while the four-year-olds Rainforest Magic and What A Charm will have come on for their recent debuts.
