Verdict
YORKHILL, current ante-post favourite for the JLT and still in the Arkle, has frightened most of the opposition away which is hardly surprising given he's only been beaten once under Rules when over the top at the Punchestown Festival. He'd earlier completed a hat-trick of Grade 1 victories over timber and made an impressive start over fences, admittedly against inferior opposition, at Fairyhouse and it will be a huge shock if he's beaten here. Anibale Fly ended the last campaign winning a very lucrative handicap over hurdles at Punchestown then beat Martello Tower on his chasing debut at Navan. He couldn't quite match strides with Coney Island over this trip in the Drinmore at Fairyhouse before jumping poorly and disappointing in the Grade 1 Kauto Star at Kempton. Gangster was caught in the shadow of the post by Bleu Et Rouge here last month after a narrow defeat by American Tom at Punchestown and he should be challenging for second spot. The remainder all have plenty to find
