In depth

Verdict

Strandfield Lady won this a year ago and returned to form on the track last week with a smooth victory. She's obviously in good heart and will take some beating despite a 7lb rise. However, KASHMIR PEAK looked a progressive type when beating a decent field at Navan last month and, as the three-year-old has plenty of scope, he's handed the vote to follow up. Bobskier had been steadily dropping in the weights before a much improved effort behind Lady Bennett at Naas earlier this month and a similar run would see her in the shake-up while the lightly-raced Miss Forde found fast ground against her at Ballinrobe after a very promising run at Wexford and makes her handicap debut off what looks a very fair mark.
