Dawn Hoofer was in tremendous form all last summer winning three times. She's been well beaten in two starts over hurdles this year and should do much better now back on the level and holds Nimitz on their 1-2 at Dundalk in August. Claim The Lady looked a likely future winner when a very good third over this track and trip but never really got going when dropped back to 7f at Limerick. RIPS DREAM, twice a winner over 1m4f at Dundalk, was only beaten a neck over this trip at Cork last month before finding 1m5f on this track stretching his stamina though he was in the lead at this trip and might be good enough. The three-year-old Invasion Day has never raced beyond a mile and was beaten 11l into second last time though has been given a chance by the assessor with a 4lb drop from his last handicap.
