Verdict

Katiba looked a very nice prospect when just holding Gin Blossom in a huge field at the Curragh though the runner-up has been beaten at odds-on subsequently. GEOMETRICAL beat the smart Mogul 5l at Gowran before a close third in the Group 2 Futurity at the Curragh then was blown away by Pinaturbo in the National Stakes when Iberia was just in front. Aidan O'Brien's charge didn't let the form down in the Royal Lodge so there should be little between them again. Camachita takes a big step-up in class after landing the odds in a Dundalk maiden as does Stela Star after her success on the same track.
