ROSTROPOVICH (NAP) attempted to make all in the Irish Derby and battled on strongly when headed approaching 2f out. He couldn't repeat the process against his elders in the King George and Queen Elizabeth at Ascot but is better than Group 3 standard and should get back to winning ways. Stellar Mass has been a fine servant to Jim Bolger and is definitely up to this class. He'll enjoy the conditions more than most and stayed on well here last month after hitting a flat spot. Giuseppe Garibaldi won a maiden and a Listed contest in early summer and has been going well at this sort of level though over slightly further, a remark that also applies to Mustajeer, an excellent fourth in the Ebor. The latter had earlier been beaten more than two lengths behind Kalaxana in a Roscommon Listed contest but Joseph O'Brien's French import Master Of Reality is interesting. The King is held by a couple of these on recent form.
