In depth

Verdict

Many of these are better known as jumpers including Top Othe Ra, who was running in very strong company over hurdles during the winter and ran really well on his first start under Flat rules at Tipperary last month. GREAT TRANGO finished in front of him that day and has since performed well on fast going at the Curragh so he looks the one to be on. Nessun Dorma hasn't done as well as expected over timber but won over hurdles on very fast ground at Gowran last summer so conditions are in his favour. Ask Susan won over fences at Tramore last week though whether she'll have the pace for this is another matter and Awayinthewest looks more of a threat as she's been in excellent form over timber and scored on good ground at Ballinrobe last month.
