Geological won this a year ago and is 4lb lower though he's not been in the same kind of form recently at Dundalk. That certainly can't be said of Settle For Bay, who has completed a four-timer on the Polytrack and may not have finished yet. However, he beat HONOR OAK 2l in September and the runner-up, who made a successful reappearance there last month, will be a massive 25lb better off and looks the one to be on. The lightly-raced Surrounding has to be a major threat after a fine run in a Dundalk Listed race last time and likes these big field handicaps while Jon Ess was in excellent form at Dundalk all last winter and only went up 4lb for his latest victory. Captain Power has dropped to his lowest mark for a very long time and Eddie Lynam will have him ready.
