Cougar Mountain won this last year and Custom Cat in 2014. The former hasn't been in the best of form which is reflected in a 9lb ratings drop but the latter has been running well and wasn't beaten far in the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot last time. General Macarthur and Elleval haven't done it at this level so far but Tribal Beat finished runner-up in a Group 3 on his last juvenile start here in October. However, this should revolve around HIT IT A BOMB, who hasn't been seen since landing the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Keeneland in October. The form of that race has produced mixed messages but Aidan O'Brien's colt has untapped potential and entries in all of the top races still to come suggest he should be ready for this.
