Raiders from Great Britain have a very good record in this and John Quinn's horses in Ireland are always respected and Safe Voyage, whose only run here resulted in a victory in a Group 2 back in 2020, ran very well behind I'm A Gambler in a Class 2 handicap at Goodwood last time. The winner ran in a Group 3 there the next day and should find this less daunting. Rhoscolyn was beaten in a triple-photo in that earlier event and David O'Meara's charge has an obvious chance of reversing the form. Ger Lyons won this last year with a progressive three-year-old and MARKAZ PANAME (NAP) fits the bill to complete a stable double in the race. He gave a subsequent winner 17lb and a beating on his reappearance at Naas then won the Group 3 Gladness at the Curragh so normal progress will see him difficult to beat. Surrounding never got going in this last year but won a Listed race at Galway in July while Current Option has raced at a very high level throughout and looked right back to his best on soft ground at the Galway Festival. Andreas Vesalius was unlucky at Gowran and may prove best of the remainder.
