This was won by a three-year-old last year and Frontier is the only entry from that generation here though he'll need to improve vastly on his two runs this season if he's to get involved. Salam Alaykum had looked a very progressive type when beating Placere over 1m4f here a month ago and there must have been something amiss when he was beaten a long way by that runner-up at the Curragh. A return to form would see him go close but CLOUDGAZER may have his measure. Noel Meade's charge will have no problems with the trip having been touched off by Deutschland at Wexford and Johnny Murtagh's presence in the saddle is a bonus. Sky Pilot looks a bit high in the weights after going up 11lb since his Limerick success while Donatis Comet can go well from what looks a fair mark.
