Henry De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore are much better known for their exploits over jumps but Reddiac has a first run for the stable after transferring from Ed Dunlop, for whom he showed some ability. Treble Cone, the only course and distance winner in the line-up, is back on the same mark and no forlorn hope despite a big weight in this low-grade contest. Three-times winner LADY SCATHACH is reasonably consistent at this sort of level and surprisingly 1lb lower than her last victory so she looks the one to beat as New Vocation, a winner over 1m2f at Navan last summer, has changed stables and may need further. Her former handler has the lightly-raced Aisteoir engaged and she won't need to improve much to get into contention.
