Diamond Daze, sure to get a good ride from Ray Dawson, has been going well without quite getting there and should be in the shake-up. Opening Nite ran very well at Dundalk last month but that was over 1m3f and this could be on the short side. ARAGORN ICON has run just once on Turf since he completed a double last summer and, as he hasn't won again he can race from a 2lb lower mark than when successful at Killarney in July. He gets the vote to return to winning ways though Jim Bolger won this a year ago and the lightly-raced Confident Cub is one to keep an eye on from his lowly mark.
