In depth

Verdict

Sir Henry Cecil won this last year and the stable's Chigun has to be respected in what is a bit of a soft Group 1. She landed a Group 3 at the Curragh in May but hasn't done quite so well at a higher level subsequently. Caponata hasn't had much racing for her age and has her first start at this level She was behind Say when they occupied the places behind Dank at the Curragh in July and Aidan O'Brien's filly should have her measure again. Ballydoyle are also represented by Just Pretending, a regular at this level though like Magical Dream, over longer trips. If the promised rain arrives and the going is on the easy side, KENHOPE will take some beating though she's also run well on faster ground as she did behind Sky Lantern in the Coronation Stakes. She is probably still progressing and looks just the type for this.
