    Verdict

Mudamer stepped up to a mile for the first time here last month and was only beaten a neck after finishing strongly. Howth has been very highly tried since landing a Killarney nursery and his rider's claim should be a massive help in what looks a tight handicap. Mctigue won a course and distance maiden in August and produced his best subsequent run when headed in the final strides by Fastnet Crown at the Curragh and should make a bold bid to defy a 3lb rise. ALL IN THE MIND went up 7lb for a comfortable victory over slightly shorter at Tipperary then found 7f too short at the Curragh when finishing strongly. He's been left on the same mark and can go in again.
