In depth

Verdict

With the yard in such good form, Champagne Town, a winner at Kirkistown under Barry O'Neill, can go well though this looks a tough bumper. Rath Gaul Boy was an easy winner of a moderate KInsale point and has joined Willie Mullins but the form pick has to be MONTY'S STAR. Runner-up to Stay Away Fay, who made £305,000 when sent to the sales, at Lingstown, he's now with Henry De Bromhead and can make a successful start under Rules. Curley Finger took a long time to warm up at Thurles and should do better while easy Loughanmore winner Hartur D'arc ran into a smart one at Navan and looks certain to improve.
