    Verdict

    Johnny Murtagh's presence on Await The Dawn looks a little baffling as his mount hasn't been seen since finishing last in a Group 2 at Doncaster in September and stablemate Snow Blizzard looked a nice prospect when beating Maverick Man here in April. His choice is probably irrelevant, however, as PROFOUND BEAUTY is in such great heart that she can repeat last year's victory. Dermot Weld's mare has been confined to racing over 1m6f since last year's success but sauntered home from Drumfire here last month and will be very difficult to beat. Akzar was touched off by Mid Mon Lady over 1m2f at Fairyhouse and will need to step up on that to trouble the selection.
