Hardstone has improved markedly at Dundalk and has form on fast going so if he handles the step up in trip he must go well. Daneking had a run over fences last month so will be fit enough, though the useful hurdler is something of an unknown on ground this quick. Conditions shouldn't be a concern for DIGEANTA, who finished a close fifth on good going in last year's Cesarewitch and has won bumpers on fast going. Pat Smullen has ridden him in the past and can steer him to another victory. Ancient Sands is another who has been chasing but his form on the Flat bears close scrutiny while Unrequited scored over 1m4f on fast ground at Tipperary before finding a 10lb rise and two miles too much for him at the Curragh.
