Several trainers are double-handed here including Aidan O'Brien who has Auckland and VENICE BEACH engaged. The former was unfancied on his debut at Gowran and finished a long way third behind an odds-on stable companion but the latter made much more of an impression when staying on strongly over a mile here in October. He can go one better though there are plenty of dangers including Haripour, who finished runner-up in that race at Gowran though was never near enough to challenge. Ger Lyons has his horses going well and Insayshable made a promising start at Naas in September while Jim Bolger's Street Cry newcomer Chronicles is one to keep an eye on.
