In depth

Verdict

COMMANDANT won at Thurles in November and was beaten less than a length by stable companion Eviscerating, due to run in the previous race, at Naas recently. Joseph O’Brien’s charge is taken to return to winning ways with Livingstones Quest raised 6lb after scoring at Naas last week. Sil Ver Klass posted a better effort at Gowran last time and makes most appeal of Tony Martin’s three runners but Serious Ego looks no nearer opening his account judged on his latest modest effort at Thurles.
