        Verdict

        Break Rank needed 1m4f at Epsom to finally open his account. Today's drop back in trip and likely soft ground raise concerns about him and a chance is taken that SNOW HILL can build on his latest second at Haydock. That run hinted at a long awaited return to form for Chris Wall's charge and he can get the better of today's modest opposition with a similar effort. Perfect Delight has slipped down the weights without getting any closer while the lightly-raced Authorship is having his first outing since September. Thomas Holborn could figure if proving suited to the going while Ivanhoe has been thereabouts over longer trips of late.
