In depth

Verdict

Mylord Collonges gets the token vote ahead of Major Euro and Rash Moment. The selection showed his first signs of form when winning over course and distance earlier this month under similar conditions. He's relatively unexposed and, therefore, may be able to overcome a 7lb rise. Major Euro is thoroughly exposed but has the ability to win this sort of race when things fall right but may be too high in the weights following his win at Newbury. Rash Moment ran one of his better races last time but underfoot conditions are probably on the soft side for him. Ya I Know and High Jack have hinted at ability and could figure if their jumping holds up whilst Sitting Duck and Baron Blitzkrieg have their conditions if they can find their form. Neither Droppy's, Parish Oak nor Lysander are ruled out in an open heat but a chance is taken with Mylord Collonges.
