GREAT LINK has won an all-weather maiden at Wolverhampton since a comfortable victory in a similar race to this at Ludlow. He's clearly in good heart and, with Josh Hamer's claim to help his cause, should come out on top again. Ring Eye has his first start for John O'Shea after being placed a couple of times in Ireland. He should find a small race somewhere but Inside Knowledge isn't getting any better and has had plenty of chances while Vineman didn't show much returning from a lengthy break in a bumper. Collingbourneducis won a seller on the Flat here but has shown nothing so far over hurdles.
