In depth

Verdict

BRIGHT FORECAST (NAP) made a winning start over hurdles when scoring at Newbury last month. He’s penalised for that success but that was his first outing since March and there should be plenty more to come. Bumper winner Apres Le Deluge will likely figure having finished fourth at Exeter on his debut and Tegerek is expected to finish closer today having won on the Flat when trained in France. Thibault failed to land the odds at Musselburgh last time on the back of placing at Kempton while Humble Hero was a decent handicapper on the Flat and has joined Dan Skelton’s yard for his hurdling bow.
