Not a race to get too heavily involved in and from a shortlist that includes Zimbabwe, City of Manchester and Kildee Lass, the tentative nod is given to the last named. Kildee Lass won following a long absence last time out and while it is always a danger that the bounce factor could come into play, she looks a solid prospect if running up to her form. Zimbabwe is quite some way ahead of these on official figures. Plenty has to be taken on trust about this injury prone performer. City Of Manchester has ability but barely sees out the trip. Viscount Rossini has often been the subject of support but has been let down by poor jumping in the past. Star Zero is watched in the market given the booking of Warren Marston. Major Jon invariably travels well in his races but has made a habit of finding little when it matters. Kildee Lass is far from a bombproof selection at this grade but knows how to win and that might just be good enough here.
