mostly hurdled neatly, made all and kept wide, mistake 2 out, soon clear, kept on strongly, unchallenged
chased winner until 3 out, soon outpaced and struggling, not fluent at the last, plugged on run-in, no chance with winner
always last, never involved, tailed off
tracked leading pair, closer home turn, went 2nd and went right 3 out, pushed along before next, ridden and well held run-in, no chance with winner
Winning bumper MARBLE SANDS finished runner-up in a Sandown Grade 3 handicap hurdle in March and reappeared with a very impressive maiden victory at Hereford. That looks good enough form for this though Pimlico Point, a winner between the flags, made a successful hurdling debut at Chepstow in March and should be winning again soon. Blackwell Bay has shown nothing but Storminhome won a point in Ireland in April and his yard can do little wrong at present. Another winner between the flags, Tara Line, beat two rivals on fast ground over the track and trip a couple of weeks ago.
