Verdict

BLACKHEATH caught the eye in defeat on his most recent visit to Leicester and the handicapper has actually dropped Michael Dods’ gelding down the handicap in the interim. My Ambition was a surprise victor at Newbury last month on his first outing since a gelding operation. Hilary's Boy makes a quick return to action having won here over 6f but this race is significantly tougher and is over a furlong further. Kingwell hails from a small yard that have tasted success with their last three runners and must be respected accordingly while Unsung Hero is given a market check on his first start in a handicap.
