Masterson is consistent but now drops in trip and Pacific Salt looks a likelier type as both runs have come over this trip in the current campaign and the Zebedee gelding has shown sufficient ability to suggest he can take a low-grade contest. He now has a first run for Pam Sly after leaving Roger Charlton. Harlequin Rock has claims on his Yarmouth third to Fol O'yasmine but has hitherto not proved the most consistent. Ramblow was disappointing in a decent Newmarket maiden but the market expected no more and previous maiden runs were noteworthy in the context of this race and she's of interest in her first handicap. However, PATANJALI (NAP) is taken to back up her recent Yarmouth success. She only landed a modest Class 6 affair but scored rather stylishly and can follow up off an acceptable 3lb higher mark.
