In depth

Verdict

Roundtree has conditions in her favour and can take full advantage of a significant drop in class. Richard Hannon's filly was runner-up behind Queen's Logic in Greenham before being unsuited by a slow pace in the 1,000 Guineas. An excellent Lingfield third (Up Market finished distressed) behind Tempting Fate in Listed company latest gives her every chance to gain an overdue win. Grecian Glory was impressive when landing a Nottingham maiden on debut and is open to plenty of improvement although the form has taken a knock since. Aldafra followed her Haydock handicap win off 80 with a fair effort in a classified event last time but has something to find at this level and Miss Pinkerton, third behind Kootenay in one-mile Listed contest at Kempton in March, may prove a bigger threat.
