      Verdict

      ALDAARY created a favourable impression at Yarmouth but probably didn’t beat much. He will find this more difficult conceding 3lb to the more-experienced Dark Illusion but still gets the nod. The latter has already achieved a rating of 80 in three handicaps but was well beaten on his only previous try over 6f. Special Mayson was slowly away and then ran green when fourth over 7f here on debut so better is expected today.
