        Verdict

        Rockfield Lodge makes most appeal on ratings and can provide Mark Rimmer with a first success since obtaining his trainers licence. Rated 75, the selection holds at least 9lb in hand on the handicap and although quite possibly flattered by the rating, if transferring his all-weather form to the turf he is the clear form pick. Samurai Warrior has blinkers applied for the first time and although open to improvement would need to step up on his latest effort at Bath to land this although he did indicate some promise in maidens. Flight Plan is beginning to look exposed despite his small number of runs while the form of his latest efforts has no real substance to it. The quirky One Called Alice reserves her best for the all-weather it seems so in a race where question marks linger over the credentials of many, Rockfield Lodge is a tentative selection.
