DOUBLE UP makes plenty of appeal on his Turf debut off bottomweight. He failed to repel the determined late thrust of the progressive Stomp at Lingfield on only his second career start but that rates very useful sprint handicap form in light of the victor's subsequent third placing in a hot Newmarket contest when beaten less than a length by Eastern Impact. Hopefully he'll handle ground with cut on this initial venture onto grass. Golden Steps strolled home in a Yarmouth maiden last month by seven lengths and will surely progress from that success despite the impost of joint topweight on his handicap bow. Greeb is also considered having shaped promisingly on reappearance in a useful Newmarket sprint handicap and the son of Oasis Dream is well worth a place on any shortlist.
