MAMBO SPIRIT is taken to win this race at the main expense of Invincible Lad, Drifting Gold and Northern Empire. Paul Mulrennan is yet to ride a winner for James Given but the selection is starting to look well-handicapped as he now resides on a mark of 72, some 10lb lower than his highest winning mark back in 2007. He likes quick ground and he can add to his three career wins. Invincible Lad should come on for his recent outing, whilst Bahamian Ballet and Ten Down have to put poor latest runs behind them. Drifting Gold is more consistent and Clive Cox's mare comes here in good form, whilst the same applies to Make My Dream, Northern Empire and Circle Dance. At a price the old-timer Digital could run well although he tends to get too far detached, and so it is Mambo Spirit that we will take a chance on.
