The latter was placed off today’s mark for the fourth time in succession when runner-up at Yarmouth last time. ETIENNE GERARD won at Windsor earlier and was second over 5f at Beverley a fortnight ago. Nigel Tinkler’s course and distance winner may come out best in this ahead of Tom Sawyer, who was also runner-up last time but has recorded all eight victories to date over the minimum trip.
