In depth

Verdict

Veteran Applesandpierres and Lignou are hard to fancy on recent form but the remainder all appear to have a chance of sorts, though the returning Quiana has been a bit disappointing. Made For You beat stable companion Tinnahalla half-a-length here in November but the latter could turn the tables on 4lb better terms. Mr Grey Sky will have his ground but Krypton Gold hasn’t followed up a second here in the autumn. First Angel is interesting back over hurdles but HAPPY AND FINE ran his best race so far at Catterick and is only a pound higher so gets the nod.
