Lady Advocate won a Ripon seller in August but her stable is in the doldrums at present. Authora ran well on her second start at Newbury and has claims on that form, while Gabrial's Bounty appears to be improving with experience. FINDHORNBAY didn't give his true running at Pontefract last time and is fancied to reverse that running with Irrational over this longer trip. Her third at Carlisle in August is arguably the best form on offer here. Emman Bee's close third at Warwick was another step in the right direction and she must also go on the short-list.
