      Verdict

      Steventon Star invariably finds at least one too good and is getting little help from the handicapper but Bogsnog won at Thirsk last month and will enjoy the going. Hardy Black was successful at Wetherby last month but then disappointed at Nottingham. DOVIL'S DUEL could be the value in an open-looking heat as he won a nursery over course and distance a couple of years ago, though the fitting of blinkers suggest connections think he's been saving a bit for himself lately. Consistant isn't badly treated on his best form so could also figure.
