Jockey bookings suggest Ffos Las fourth Uphold is the pick of Jamie Osborne's two runners ahead of Lang Shining, who seems better on the Polytrack nowadays. But both may struggle at the weights here. Ahlawy has gone off the boil since winning at Wolverhampton in March but Layla's Dancer is proving very consistent, though would probably prefer a longer trip and was run out of it by HUMOR ME RENE at Kempton last week. Tony Carroll's charge is fractionally better off at the weights here but George Baker's four-year-old appears on the upgrade and can confirm the form and follow up here.
