    Verdict

A typically tricky Leicester maiden with some top trainers getting involved. The Barry Hills trained Almansoor has strong claims along with John Gosden's My Immortal, but we will take a chance with Clueless. Willie Haggas's colt has shown plenty of ability in three races top date. His most recent effort came in a strong looking maiden at Newmarket won by Top Gear. He finished a close up fourth and with the third, fifth and sixth all having run well since the form looks rock solid. Almansoor improved on his debut run to finish third behind Mountain High at Chester last time. With further improvement expected he will be a major threat to the selection. My Immortal is the only newcomer in the line up, he cost 85 thousand guineas as a yearling and is bred to appreciate this ground and trip. Mr Vegas is on the upgrade and looks best of the others, but Clueless looks to have the best overall form and gets our vote.
